Taormina Burlesque Festival
Novice Selection
L’edizione del 30 marzo 2019 è stata una edizione speciale del Taormina Burlesque festival dedicata agli astri nascenti del burlesque.
L’obiettivo della manifestazione è stato quello di dare la possibilità alle “Novizie” del campo del burlesque di potersi esibire e di concorrere per vincere il titolo “Rising Star Taormina Burlesque Festival”. Premio della manifestazione: accesso diretto alla seconda edizione del Taormina Burlesque Festival per la "Contest Night".
La Manifestazione si è aperta con un set fotografico che si è svolto tra Piazza Vincenzo Bellini e Piazza Università a Catania e che ha visto protagonisti numerosi fotoamatori che hanno immortalato le nostre splendide performer in abiti vintage a bordo di splendide auto storiche e negli angoli più suggestivi della Città.
Contestualmente è stato aperto un contest fotografico su facebook e il fotografo che con la sua immagine si è aggiudicato il maggior numero di “Like” è stato Nunzio Russo a cui è stata consegnata una simpatica targa ricordo da parte dell’organizzazione.
Lo spettacolo serale si è svolto presso “Sala Harpago- Il Gatto Blu” in Catania.
La serata è stata condotta dalla nostra produttrice Lady Roberta Kent. L’ attrice catanese Antonella Cirrone ha presenziato l’evento con i suoi buffi personaggi divertendo simpaticamente il pubblico.
Super ospiti della manifestazione sono state la Lady Burlesque Taormina 2018 Zoe Bizoe dal Belgio, Miss Sugar Rush dall’Inghilterra e Miss Viva Las Vegas 2019 Renè Rebelle da Philadelphia (Usa).
Dodici performer si sono sfidate per vincere il titolo di “Rising Star 2019” Taormina Burlesque Festival.
Ad aggiudicarsi la fascia è stata la Partenopea Miss Adelaide con l’act “Sweety Pepper”.

Novice Selection
The 30 March 2019 edition was a special edition of the Taormina Burlesque festival dedicated to burlesque rising stars.
The aim of the event was to give the "novices" of the burlesque field the opportunity to perform and compete to win the "Rising Star Taormina Burlesque Festival" title. Event prize: direct access to the second edition of the Taormina Burlesque Festival for the "Contest Night".
The event opened with a photographic set that took place between Piazza Vincenzo Bellini and Piazza Università in Catania and which saw numerous photo amateurs who immortalized our splendid performers in vintage clothes aboard splendid historic cars and in the most suggestive corners of the city. At the same time, a photo contest was opened on Facebook and the photographer who won the most "likes" with his image was Nunzio Russo who was given a nice souvenir plaque by the organization.
The evening show took place at "Sala Harpago- Il Gatto Blu" in Catania. The evening was conducted by our producer Lady Roberta Kent. The Catania-born actress Antonella Cirrone attended the event with her funny characters, amusingly amusing the audience.
Super guests of the event were Lady Burlesque Taormina 2018 Zoe Bizoe from Belgium, Miss Sugar Rush from England and Miss Viva Las Vegas 2019 Renè Rebelle from Philadelphia (USA).
Twelve performers competed to win the title of "Rising Star 2019" Taormina Burlesque Festival.The band was won by the Parthenopean Miss Adelaide with the "Sweety Pepper" act.
